denver omelette skillet dinner
Since I usually do a lot of skillet type meals, I thought I would try to take on a Denver omelette in a skillet. I think it turned out great! My husband thought so, too. The milk made it fluffy.

Ingredients
- 1/2 medium red bell pepper, diced
- 1/2 medium green bell pepper, diced
- 1/4 cup sliced mushrooms
- 1/2 medium yellow onion
- canola oil
- 10 large eggs
- milk
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon parsley flakes
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 cup Mexican blend shredded cheese
How To Make denver omelette skillet dinner

Step 1In a large bowl, add diced peppers, mushrooms and onions.

Step 2In a large skillet on medium/high heat, add canola oil to coat the bottom.

Step 3Crack the eggs into a big bowl and whisk. Add in a splash of milk. Sprinkle in garlic powder, parsley, and salt. Whisk until everything is combined.

Step 4Pour scrambled eggs into a heated skillet. Do not stir. Place a lid on top to let it cook. Be patient, and keep a watch on your skillet.

Step 5Check after about 8 to 10 minutes to see if eggs have been cooked thoroughly. Lower heat, and add shredded cheese.

Step 6Replace lid to melt cheese. Serve and enjoy.
