cream poached eggs with toast
This reminds me of a dish my dad used to make for breakfast when I was a kid. He called it Milk Toast. He would make toast and pour warm milk over it and top it with fried eggs.

Ingredients
- 1 cup heavy cream, maybe more
- 2 large eggs
- salt and pepper
- 1 slice country bread
- 1 ounce soft butter
How To Make cream poached eggs with toast

Step 1Pour the cream into a saucepan and place it over medium heat.

Step 2Break the eggs into a bowl.

Step 3Toast the bread and butter it.

Step 4When the cream is starting to get hot slide the eggs into the cream. Make sure it almost covers the eggs; use more if needed.

Step 5Spoon the cream over the egg yolks while the whites are cooking.

Step 6Once done, place the eggs on a rounded dish. Season with salt and pepper. Pour some of the cream over top and serve with the toast.
