9in. unbaked pie shell
1/2 lb
swiss cheese, shredded
1 c
crabmeat, fresh, or imitation works great
1/2 c
cooked plain shrimp (salad size is what i use
1 3/4 c
half and half
1/2 tsp
1 Tbsp
all purpose flour
2 Tbsp
butter, melted
1/4 tsp
red pepper
2 1/2 Tbsp
sherry wine

How to Make Crab and shrimp Quiche


  • 1Place swiss cheese in unbaked pie shell, add the crab and shrimp.
  • 2Mix together the half and half, eggs, flour, salt, melted butter, nutmeg,peppers and the sherry wine.
    Pour over the crab and cheese mixture.
  • 3Bake at 450* for 7 minutes. reduce heat to 325* for 30 to 40 minutes.
    watch carefully and cool before cutting to serve.
    cut small wedges for tea, or big for dinner..
  • 4other combinations:
    onions, mushrooms and cheese.
    ham and cheese
    chicken and onion
    sausage and cheese
    broccoli, chicken and cheese
    bacon and cheese (quiche Lorraine)
    Mushrooms and zuchini
    the skies the limit on quiche.. please enjoy.
