Ingredients

  • 6 dinner rolls or brioche sandwich rolls
  • 12 slices bacon, cooked crisp
  • 6 slices velveeta sliced cheese
  • 6 x large eggs
  • 1 tablespoon chives, dried

How To Make cheesy egg in a bowl

  • Step 1
    Preheat oven to 375 degrees F.
  • Step 2
    Cut tops off of rolls; set aside. Make 1" dep indentation in center of bottom 1/2 of each roll.
  • Step 3
    Crumble 6 bacon slices; sprinkle into bread bowls. Top with velveeta slices. Crack egg over cheese in each bowl; place on baking sheet.
  • Step 4
    Bake 20 - 25 minutes or until egg whites are completely set & yolks begin to thicken but do not become firm, adding tops of rolls, cut sides up (not on the bottoms yet), to baking sheet for the last 5 minutes.
  • Step 5
    Sprinkle eggs with chives. Replace tops of rolls. Serve with remaining bacon slices.
