I cut this recipe off a package of Kraft shredded cheddar cheese about 40 years ago and it is still one of my favorites. You can't find it on their website ;-(

Ingredients

  • 8 ounces kraft shredded sharp natural cheddar cheese
  • 2 tablespoons flour
  • 4 - large eggs, slightly beaten
  • 1 1/2 cups milk
  • 3/4 cup finely diced ham
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1 dash pepper
  • 1 - 9-inch unbaked deep dish pie shell

How To Make cheddar cheese pie

  • Step 1
    Toss cheese with flour (keeps it from sinking to the bottom). Add eggs, milk, ham and seasonings, mix well. Bake at 350 degrees 1 hour or until set. Garnish with parsley or pimento strips, if desired.
  • Step 2
    I like to serve it with fresh fruit and muffins.
