I love french toast and looking for different ways to make it. This is one of my favorites and its simple too.

Ingredients
- 1 stick butter, unsalted
- 1 cup brown sugar, light
- 2 tablespoons corn syrup, light
- 8 slices white bread with crusts removed
- 5 - eggs
- 1 1/2 cups half and half
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 2 teaspoons orange liqueur(optional)
How To Make caramel souffle french toast

Step 1Melt butter, brown sugar and cornn syrup in a saucepan over medium heat; stirring until smooth. Pour into a 9"x13" baking dish.

Step 2Arrange bread slices in a single layer over sugar mixture.

Step 3In a medium bowl, whisk together remaining ingredients until well combined and pour over the bread. Cover and refrigerate at least 9 hours or over night.

Step 4When ready to bake, bring souffle to room temperature and bake in a preheated 350'F oven for 35-40 minutes or until puffed and golden brown.
