broccolli quiche
i thought i had bought spinach and was gonna use it in my qiuche.....guess what was not spinach....i already had stuff cooking so......... make the change from spinach to brocolli...... have this either for breakfast or dinner....hubby loved it.......

Ingredients
- 1 - 8 in pie crust[homemade or pre made from store]
- 2/3 pound of bag of frozen brocolli[thawed]
- 1/2 pound bacon,fried crispt
- 8 ounces mushrooms, fresh,chopped in small pieces
- 1 small onion,chopped small
- 1 cup swiss cheese,grated
- 1 cup low fat chedar cheese
- 6 large eggs
- 1 cup 1% milk
- - sal [ta little right in the eggs] and pepper to taste
- slice thin tomatoes

Step 1pre heat oven to 400

Step 2fry bacon...when it crisp add mushrooms and onions...cook and stir bout 10 more min..while it cooks put all the eggs in med bowl... add salt and pepper...whisk well add milk keep whisking.... set aside....... grated both cheese mix toghether set aside

Step 3take pie crust sprinkle some cheese in crust,now add bacon veggie,than brocolli,keep layering slowly pour egg mix into pie... it will be full...put pie onto cookie sheet...put in oven bake 35-40 min use clean knife poked into center of quiche if knife comes out clean it is done... remove from oven top quiche with tomato slices cut into wedges and serve
