Ingredients

  • 1/2 package frozen hashbrowns - thawed
  • 6 - eggs
  • 1/4 cup milk
  • 1 - prepared 9" pie crust (your own or ready made)
  • 1 cup broccoli florets, cut small
  • 4 - sausage links or patties, diced small
  • 1 tablespoon parsley flakes
  • 1 tablespoon minced garlic (less if you use fresh not dried)
  • 1/4 - medium onion, diced small
  • 1 cup shredded cheese (flavor of your choice, cheddar is always good)
  • - salt and pepper to taste

How To Make breakfast pie

  • Step 1
    preheat oven to 400 degrees and line 9" deep dish pie pan with prepared crust, pinching edges to form lip
  • Step 2
    In medium mixing bowl, add all other ingredients and mix well. Pour into crust, using spoon to compact and remove air pockets.
  • Step 3
    Bake at 400 for about 45 minutes to an hour, or until knife inserted in the middle comes out clean. I cover the edges of the crust with foil to keep the crust from getting over done.
