breakfast in a loaf
Delicious!! This is one of my favorite things to make for breakfast, or have even made for dinner. Change out what you might like for the meats, and cheeses. I have made many variations. Turkey , sausage, bacon, whatever you prefer. Make sure you get a good crusty bread..

Ingredients
- 1 - round loaf bread (8 to 9 inch diameter)
- 4 ounces sliced ham
- 1/2 - red bell pepper, thinly sliced into rings
- 1/2 cup shredded monterey jack cheese
- 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1/2 cup pitted, sliced ripe olives
- 1 large ripe tomato, sliced
- 8 ounces mushrooms,sliced and cooked
- 1 small sweet onion, sliced thin
- 8 - eggs, scrambled with salt and pepper
How To Make breakfast in a loaf

Step 1Prepare scramble eggs, Remove from heat; cover to keep warm. Saute onion just until clear.

Step 2Preheat oven to 350 degree. Cut 2-inch slice from top of loaf; set aside for lid. Remove soft interior of loaf, leaving a 1-inch-thick wall and bottom.

Step 3Place ham on bottom of loaf. Top with bell pepper rings,and onion; sprinkle with half of cheeses. Layer scrambled eggs, olives and tomato over cheeses. Top with remaining cheeses and mushrooms.

Step 4Place lid on loaf. Wrap in foil. Place on baking sheet. Bake about 30 minutes or until heated through. Cut into 8 wedges. Spread condiments of your choosing.
