This egg sandwich recipe was given to me by a friend who said it has won prizes in some Iowa Fairs. I only know its good.

    loaf french bread
  • 4 Tbsp
    butter, room temperature
  • 2 Tbsp
  • 2 Tbsp
    honey mustard
  • 4 slice
  • 4 slice
  • 4 slice
    bacon, cooked
  • 1 small
    tomato sliced thin
  • 1 small
    onion sliced thin
  • 8
  • 4-6 slice
    cheese of your choice

How to Make Baked Egg Supreme Sandwich


  1. Cut bread lengthwise and hollow out top and bottom
  2. Spread half the butter and all the mayo inside the bread shell
  3. Line bottom of bread with ham, turkey, bacon, tomato, onion and honey mustard
  4. In a frying pan, place rest of butter and cook egg to a soft scramble
  5. Spoon into bottom bread shell and top with cheese and cover with top of bread shell
  6. Wrap in lightly greased foil and bake at 375 for 15 minutes or until heated thru. Cut and enjoy.
