This quiche is a family favorite. It's a great main dish for breakfast, brunch or even supper!

Ingredients

  • 3/4 pound cooked bacon
  • 4 large eggs
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1/4 medium onion, diced
  • 1/4 medium green pepper, diced
  • salt and pepper, to taste
  • 1 cup shredded cheese
  • 1 deep dish pie shell, uncooked

How To Make bacon quiche

  • Step 1
    Bake bacon in oven or fry in skillet; drain fully cooked bacon on paper towel. Allow to cool.
  • Step 2
    Dice onion and bell pepper. Place in bottom of pie shell.
  • Step 3
    Crumble bacon and put on top of the onion and pepper in pie shell.
  • Step 4
    Sprinkle cheese over bacon in the pie shell.
  • Step 5
    Combine 4 eggs and 1 cup milk in a small bowl; whisk until well blended.
  • Step 6
    Pour egg mixture over cheese.
  • Step 7
    Bake quiche at 350 degrees for one hour or until set.
  • Step 8
    Allow to cool for 5 - 10 minutes and cut into slices.
