Ingredients
- 6 large eggs
- 1/2 teaspoon oyster sauce
- 1/2 teaspoon sugar
- 1/2 teaspoon toasted sesame oil
- 1/4 teaspoon white pepper
- 1/4 teaspoon 5 spice powder
- 1 tablespoon cornstarch
- 2 teaspoons water
- 1 cup fresh bean sprouts
- 1 scallion, thinly sliced
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- hoisin sauce, to drizzle
How To Make asian eggs with bean spouts & hoisin glaze

Step 1Whisk the eggs, oyster sauce, sugar, sesame oil, white pepper, and 5 spice together. Mix the cornstarch and water together and stir into the egg mixture.

Step 2Stir in the bean sprouts and scallion white parts. Add the oil to a skillet. Add the egg mixture and swirl to coat the bottom of the pan. Once they start to set on the bottom, remove the pan from the heat and scramble the eggs to a soft scramble.

Step 3Plate the eggs and top with the green parts of the scallion and drizzle with hoisin sauce.
