    morningstar farms maple flavored sausages
  • 1
    apple, diced
  • 4 slice
    multi grain bread
  • 1 1/2 c
    shredded cheddar cheese
  • 6
  • 1/2 c
    sour cream
  • 2 Tbsp
  • 1 tsp
  • 1/2 tsp
  • 1 1.2 c
  • 1/4 c
    chopped pecans
  • Tbsp
    sugar and cinnamon mixed

How to Make Apple Sausage Breakfast Casserole


  1. Core,peel, and dice apple. Toss with cinnamon sugar.
    Cube multi grain bread.
    Grease 8 x 8 pan.
    Chop sausages.
    Oven: 325.
  2. Whisk eggs and sour cream.
    Add and whisk sugar, vanilla, salt, and milk.
  3. Place in casserole: half of bread, half of sausage, half of apple, and half of cheese. Repeat. Top with pecans. Pour milk mixture of all. Cover and refrigerate 2 to 24 hours.
    Bake 1 hour 10 minutes. Let stand 10 minutes.
