Ingredients
- 2 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1 tablespoon baking powder
- 3/4 teaspoon salt
- 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate morsels
- 3/4 cup butter
- 1 1/2 cups milk
- 3 - eggs, lightly beaten
- 1 tablespoon vanilla extract
- - chocolate shavings for topping
- - sifted confectioners sugar for topping
- - fresh fruit for topping
How To Make chocolate brunch waffles

Step 1In a large bowl, combine flour, baking powder and salt.

Step 2Microwave chocolate morsels and butter in a medium microwave safe bowl on high heat for 1 minute; stir. Microwave at additional 10-20 second intervals, stirring until smooth. Cool to room temperature.

Step 3Stir in milk, eggs, and vanilla. Add chocolate mixture to flour mixture; stir (batter will be thick). Cook in a Belgian or standard waffle maker according to manufacturer's directions. Serve warm with your choice of toppings.
