This recipe came from a Waring blender cookbook in 1969. This is the first food I ever learned to cook. I have tweaked it over the years. It is quick and easy

Ingredients

  • 2 cups self rising flour
  • 1 1/2 cups milk, 2%
  • 3 large eggs
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/8 teaspoon cinnamon, ground

How To Make pancakes - quick and easy

  • Step 1
    In a blender add milk and eggs. blend on a low speed until mixed
  • Step 2
    add flour 1 cup at a time and blend until smooth.
  • Step 3
    Add vegetable oil, cinnamon, and vanilla extract. Blend until smooth.
  • Step 4
    Set aside and heat griddle to 350.
  • Step 5
    Using a 4 oz. ladle pour pancake batter onto oiled griddle. When bubbles start forming on surface flip pancake to cook other side.
  • Step 6
    cooking usually takes about 3 - 4 minutes
