applesauce pancakes
(1 RATING)
Always looking for flavored pancakes, these sound yummy! Those of us that cook pancakes for the Sunday Breakfast prefer to use a touch of oil to cook the pancakes, they're crispier but you can use spray if you prefer.

Step 1Combine first 3 ingredients in a medium bowl; make a well in center of mixture. Combine buttermilk and next 3 ingredients. Add buttermilk mixture to dry ingredients, stirring just until dry ingredients are moistened. Coat a nonstick griddle or nonstick skillet with cooking spray, and preheat to 350°. For each pancake, pour 1/4 cup batter onto hot griddle, spreading to a 5-inch circle. Cook pancakes until tops are covered with bubbles and edges look cooked; turn pancakes, and cook other side.
