Mother Inspired! My mom loves Shrimp & Grits. She always wants me to make them. I don't always have time to make the red eye gravy so one day I stumbled upon a package of Louisiana Cajun gravy and it had a picture of Shrimp & grits on it so I said why not and I made up this recipe. It was a huge hit with my family and the rest is Cajun delicious history.

Ingredients
- 25 - shrimp, peeled and deveined
- 1 cup instant grits
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 1/4 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 ounce pepper jack cheese
- 1 ounce heavy cream
- 1 - jalepeno, seeded and diced
- 1 package cajun gravy mix
How To Make shrimp & grits made easy

Step 1Cook the grits according to package instructions. Saute the jalapeno and add to the grits.

Step 2Add butter, cream, cheeses to the grits and simmer 1 mins.

Step 3Make the gravy according to package instructions. Add the shrimp and simmer for 10 mins or until the shrimp are cooked thoroughly.

Step 4Place grits in a bowl and top with shrimp and gravy. Enjoy!
