    stone-ground grits
  • 1/2 c
    melted butter
  • 1 Tbsp
    kosher salt
  • 6 c
    water

How to Make Overnight Slow-Cooker Grits

Step-by-Step

  1. Stir together 2 cups grits with melted butter and salt. Place in a 5-qt slow cooker and stir in 6 cups water.
  2. Cover and cook on LOW for 8 hours. Stir just before serving.
