Ingredients

eggs
3/4 c
milk
2 Tbsp
sugar
1 Tbsp
maple syrup
1/2 tsp
vanilla
1 dash(es)
salt
9 slice
french bread, sliced in 3/4 " slices
2 Tbsp
butter, melted

How to Make Overnight Baked French Toast

Step-by-Step

  • 1Beat eggs, milk, sugar, maple syrup, vanilla and salt.
  • 2Place bread slices in large glass pan. Pour egg mixture over slices. Turn to coat.
  • 3Cover with plastic wrap and refrigerate overnight.
  • 4In the morning, pre-heat oven to 425 degrees.
  • 5Spread butter over bottom of large baking pan. (Can also use PAM.) Place bread slices on pan, not touching. Spray tops with PAM.
  • 6Bake for 15 minutes. Turn bread and continue baking until just golden brown, up to an additional 10 minutes.
  • 7Sprinkle with powdered sugar and serve with maple syrup.
