A woman that I used to work with brought these in her lunch, but they were a cold sandwich. Equally delicious, I might add... I thought I'd try it grilled and warm.It was lovely! I hope that you enjoy this sandwich as much as we do.

How to Make Ham and Swiss Grilled Cheese

Step-by-Step

  1. Spread desired amount of mayonnaise on the bread.
  2. Place ham and Swiss slices on the bread and cover with top slice.
  3. In skillet or griddle melt a small amount of butter. Add the sandwich and cook until it is a nice golden brown on each side.
