This was one of my favorites for breakfast while in the US Navy. I sometimes cook this for supper and serve it over mash potatos... Sorry, no photos, but next time I make this, Ill be sure to take some and add them...

Ingredients For creamed ground beef (sos)

  • 1-1/2 lb
    lean ground beef
  • 2 Tbsp
  • 1 c
    chopped onion
  • 3 Tbsp
  • 2 Tbsp
    granilated garlic or garlic powder
  • 4 Tbsp
    soy sauce
  • 1 Tbsp
    worcestershire sauce
  • 2 c
  • salt and pepper to taste

How To Make creamed ground beef (sos)

  • 1
    Brown meat, drain.
  • 2
    Put meat back in the pan and add butter and stir
  • 3
    Add chopped onion and cook until they are translucent.
  • 4
    Add flour, stir and cook for 2 or 3 minutes.

    Add garlic, soy sauce, Worcestershire sauce and mix.

    Add milk and stir until thickens.

    Serve over toast, biscuits, eggs and have some hot sauce ready.
