I love oatmeal and love it baked... and so does my family...make it your own and add your favorite nuts, fruit, honey raisins...etc...I used almonds and fresh blueberries...I serve it with a splash of milk...enjoy!

Ingredients

  • 1
    egg
  • 1/4 c
    brown sugar
  • 1/4 c
    sugar
  • 1/2 tsp
    salt
  • 1 tsp
    baking powder
  • 1/2 c
    milk
  • 1/3 c
    sliced almonds
  • 1/4 c
    melted, butter
  • 2 Tbsp
    oil
  • 1 tsp
    vanilla extract
  • 1 3/4 c
    quick cooking oats
  • fruit
    nuts, honey, etc or make it plain

How to Make Baked Oatmeal With Almonds

Step-by-Step

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degree F.

    Lightly spray an 8 inch baking dish with non stick cooking spray.

    Beat egg in a medium bowl, add remaining ingredients, except for oats. Stir well.
  2. Add oats and blend into liquid well.
  3. Pour into prepared pan, place in oven and bake 25 - 30 minutes.

    Serve with your favorite fruit, nuts, milk, etc...

    I added fresh blueberries and milk when serving.
