- 3/4 pound ground pork sausage
- 1/4 cup all-purpose flour
- 2 cups half-andhalf or milk
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon freshly ground pepper
How To Make sausage gravy

Step 1Brown sausage in a large heavy skillet, stirring until it crumbles. Drain sausage on paper towels, Reserving 1/2 cup drippings in skillet.

Step 2Whisk flour into sausage drippings until smooth. Cook over medium- high heat,Whisking constantly, 3 minutes or until browned.

Step 3Stir in sausage. Gradually add half -and- half and cook over medium heat, stirring constantly, until thickened and bubbly. Stir in salt and pepper. Serve gravy with biscuits. Yield 3 Cups.
