I've never heard of a cherry omelet before, but it sounds like they are quite popular in Switzerland. This recipe is from Morning Food from Cafe Beaujolais.

Ingredients
- FILLING:
- 1 cup pitted fresh cherries, coarsely chopped
- 1 tablespoon sour cream
- OMELET:
- 2 - eggs
- 2 teaspoons sugar
- 1/8 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 teaspoon butter
How To Make cherry omelette

Step 1Beat together the eggs, sugar, and vanilla.

Step 2In a small nonstick pan, heat the cherries quickly until warm.

Step 3In another nonstick pan heat the butter until it foams, then add the eggs and make an omelet.

Step 4When the eggs are set, add the sour cream and then the warm cherries.

Step 5Fold and serve.
