This is a quick and tasty side dish for breakfast or brunch. I usually have these ingredients on hand.

  • 2 Tbsp
  • 1/2 c
    brown sugar
  • 1 can(s)
    apple pie filling
  • 2 tsp
  • 1/2 tsp
  • 1 1/2 tsp
    vanilla extract
  • 1 can(s)
    refrigerated biscuits 12 oz
  • 1/2 c
    chopped pecans

How to Make Apple Brunch Bake


  1. preheat oven to 350
  2. in saucepan, melt butter and stir in brown sugar, apple pie filling (either storebought or homemade), seasonings and vanilla.
  3. spray a shallow baking dish with cooking spray. pour half of apple mixture in baking dish.
  4. separate biscuits and cut each into quarters. arrange pieces, points facing up, over apple mixture in baking dish.
  5. Spoon remaining mixture over biscuits. Sprinkle with pecans.
  6. Bake at 350 for 35-40 minutes. let stand 5 minutes. Serve warm.
