I've never had this at Denny's so don't know how it compares. We have had it at home and everyone enjoyed it. I used a little less cheese and saved some to garnish. The recipe states that at Denny's you get your choice of eggs with this.

I'm not sure where I got this recipe so don't know who to give the credit to.

chicken breasts, boneless and skinless
2 c
homemade fries cooked, or frozen hashbrowns
1 tsp
fajita seasoning
1 small
bell pepper, chopped
1 small
onion, chopped
1/4 c
half and half
1/2 c
shredded cheese
1/2 c
sour cream
1/2 c
salt, to taste
freshly ground black pepper, to taste
salsa, optional

How to Make Denny's Chicken Fajita Breakfast Skillet


  • 1Rub chicken breast with fajita seasoning and let marinate for 1/2 hour.
  • 2Slice marinated chicken into strips.
  • 3Use cooking spray and saute chicken in a hot skillet until done.
  • 4Add onion and bell pepper to skillet, fry and stir on high so as to cook quickly.
  • 5Remove all from heat and set aside.
  • 6Brown left over cooked potatoes or use frozen hashbrowns, cooked until desired crispness.
  • 7Salt and pepper to you taste.
  • 8Divide in half and place on serving platters.
  • 9Mix egg with half-and-half, salt and pepper to taste.
  • 10Cook egg mixture into two separate omelets.
  • 11Place on top of browned potatoes.
  • 12Place one half of cooked fajita meat and cooked onions and peppers on top of omelet.
  • 13Sprinkle with 1/4 cup cheese on each fajita platter.
  • 14Serve with sour cream, guacamole, and salsa if you like.
