Ingredients
- - scrambled eggs:
- 1 tablespoon butter or margarine
- 6 - eggs, lightly beaten
- - salt and pepper, to taste
- - loaf:
- 1 - round loaf, 8-9 inches
- 4 ounces ham slices
- 1/2 - red bell pepper, sliced crosswise into rings
- 1/2 cup monterey jack cheese, shredded (2 ounces)
- 1/2 cup cheddar cheese, shredded (2 ounces)
- 1/2 cup ripe olives, sliced
- 1 medium tomato, sliced
- 8 ounces mushrooms, sliced, lightly sauteed
How To Make breakfast in a loaf

Step 1Preheat oven to 350F.

Step 2Cut 2-inch slice from top of loaf; set aside for lid.

Step 3Remove soft interior of loaf, leaving a 1-inch thick wall and bottom.

Step 4Place ham in bottom of loaf.

Step 5Top with bell pepper rings; sprinkle with half of cheeses.

Step 6Layer Scrambled Eggs, olives and tomato over cheeses.

Step 7Top with remaining cheeses and mushrooms.

Step 8Place lid on loaf. Wrap in foil. Place on baking sheet.

Step 9Bake about 30 minutes or until heated through.

Step 10Cut into 8 wedges.
