From The Brickhouse Inn Bed and Breakfast Gettysburg, Pennsylvania. This is a good, fun way to make an omelet. Obviously, you can play with ingredients and add or substitute ham, sausage, potatoes, etc.

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup flour
  • 1 cup milk
  • 2 tablespoons butter, melted
  • 6 - eggs
  • 1 cup bacon, cooked and crumbled
  • 1 1/2 cups cheddar cheese, shredded

How To Make bacon-cheddar rolled omelet

  • Step 1
    Preheat oven to 350F.
  • Step 2
    Generously grease foil with cooking spray. Place foil in bottom of 13x9-inch baking dish.
  • Step 3
    Whisk together flour, milk, butter and eggs until smooth.
  • Step 4
    Pour carefully into prepared pan.
  • Step 5
    Sprinkle with bacon.
  • Step 6
    Bake until eggs are set 15 to 18 minutes.
  • Step 7
    Remove from oven and immediately sprinkle with cheese.
  • Step 8
    Starting at narrow end of pan and using foil to lift roll the omelet.
  • Step 9
    Wrap with foil and return to warm oven for a few minutes.
  • Step 10
    When ready to serve slice into 1 or 1 1/2 inch slices.
