Ingredients
- 2 1/2 cups all purpose flour
- 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
- 1 1/2 teaspoons baking soda
- 1/2 teaspoon sea salt
- 1 tablespoon sugar
- 2 tablespoons light brown sugar
- 2 large eggs
- 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 1/2 cups buttermilk
- 1/2 cup heavy cream
- 2 teaspoons butter,melted
- 1/4 cup fresh squeezed orange juice
- 1 teaspoon fresh orange zest
- 1/4 teaspoon allspice, ground
How To Make sunshine pancakes

Step 1Preheat your griddle to 350 degrees.

Step 2Mix all wet ingredients and the orange zest. Blend thoroughly.

Step 3In a small bowl blend the dry ingredients. Add to the wet ingredients and whisk until just blended. Do not overwork, that will make the pancakes rubbery.

Step 4Pour batter onto hot griddle using a 1/4 measuring cup. Cook until bubbles rise to the top and start to burst, then turn over and cook until cakes rise and edges are dry.
