We have this every Christmas or whenever companies here for breakfast. Its easy to make and great to make the day before as the flavors mingle. I even make ahead and keep in the freezer.

Ingredients
- 3-4oz. cans chopped green chilies
- 6 - corn tortillas cut in 1/2 " strips
- 1 pound ground sausage-cooked and drained
- 2 cups monterey jack cheese
- 1/2 cup milk
- 8 large eggs
- 1/2 teaspoon each of salt, garlic powder, onion salt,cumin, and black pepper
How To Make southwest sausage casserole

Step 1Grease 9/12 pan. Layer 1/2 of the following-chilies, tortillas, sausage and cheese-repeat. Combine eggs, milk and seasonings, pour over mixture. Sprinkle with paprika, cover with plastic wrap and refrigerate til ready to bake. Bake at 350 for 45-55 minutes. Serve with sour cream and salsa.
