This is a staple at the Sweet home! We love using hot sausage for a little bit of spice! You can substitute ham or cooked bacon for the sausage, as well.

Ingredients For sausage quiche

  • 1 lb
  • 1/4 c
    onion, diced
  • 1/4 c
    bell pepper, diced
  • 8 - 10
  • 4 c
  • 2 c
    cheddar cheese, shredded
  • 2
    pie crust shell

How To Make sausage quiche

  • 1
    Cook sausage in skillet, and add onions and pepper when almost done. Saute' veggies until tender.

    Drain grease off of sausage and veggies, and divide cooked sausage between the two pie shells.

    Put one cup of cheese over sausage in each pie shell.
  • 4
    In another bowl, whisk together eggs and milk. Pour half of egg mixture over the sausage and cheese in each pie shell.

    Bake at 350 degrees for one hour or until set. Allow to cool for 10 minutes before cutting.
