sausage quiche
This is a staple at the Sweet home! We love using hot sausage for a little bit of spice! You can substitute ham or cooked bacon for the sausage, as well.

Ingredients
- 1 pound sausage
- 1/4 cup onion, diced
- 1/4 cup bell pepper, diced
- 8 - 10 eggs
- 4 cups milk
- 2 cups cheddar cheese, shredded
- 2 pie crust shell
How To Make sausage quiche

Step 1Cook sausage in skillet, and add onions and pepper when almost done. Saute' veggies until tender.

Step 2Drain grease off of sausage and veggies, and divide cooked sausage between the two pie shells.

Step 3Put one cup of cheese over sausage in each pie shell.

Step 4In another bowl, whisk together eggs and milk. Pour half of egg mixture over the sausage and cheese in each pie shell.

Step 5Bake at 350 degrees for one hour or until set. Allow to cool for 10 minutes before cutting.
