1 lb
breakfast sausage, browned and drained
1/8 tsp
salt (optional)
2 1/2 c
cheddar cheese, shredded
1/2 c
1/3 c
butter, melted
1 1/2 c
milk (i use skim but i don't think it matters)

How to Make Sausage Egg & Cheese Caserole


  • 1Mix all ingredients together, except hold back 1/2 cup cheese.
  • 2Pour into greased 8 x 8 baking pan.
  • 3Bake at 350 degrees for approximately 35 minutes or until edges start to brown and middle is not runny.
  • 4Sprinklle remaining cheese on top and put back in oven until cheese melts.
  • 5Remove from oven and allow to sit for about 5 minutes so it can set. Cut and serve.
