Made it for Easter breakfast. It was a big hit, and no leftovers, so I had to make more.

1 lb
tennessee pride country sausage, cooked and crumbled, and drained
loaf of hawaiian bread, sliced 1 inch thick
eggs, beaten
1 c
1 1/2 c
shredded colby jack cheese

How to Make Sausage Egg Casserole


  • 1Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Grease a 9 x 9 baking dish. Arrange bread over the bottom of the dishWhisk eggs and milk in mixing bowl until well blended, season with salt and pepper to taste.
  • 2Pour 1/2 the egg mixture over the bread. Sprinkle with 1/2 the sausage and cheese. Add the remaining egg mixture. Sprinkle with the remaining sausage and cheese.
  • 3Bake 20 to 30 minutes until eggs are set and topis golden brown. Let stand 5 minutes before serving.
