This is a recipe that was passed to me by my Mom. It is super easy & delicious for breakfast, brunch or dinner.

Ingredients

  • 6 slices buttered bread
  • 1 pound browned sausage
  • 1 1/2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 pint half and half
  • 8 - eggs
  • - salt and pepper to taste

How To Make sausage & egg breakfast casserole

  • Step 1
    Place 6 slices of buttered bread butter side up in bottom of 9x13 pan. Add sausage & cheese. Mix half & half & eggs together in separate bowl. Add salt & pepper. Place egg mixture over cheese & refrigerate overnight.
  • Step 2
    Preheat oven to 350 degrees Bake 30-45 minutes Serve
