Sausage - Egg Bake
Original recipe came from a 1993 TV Guide. It was shared by Marilynne Hargrove who's husband is Mike. He was a manager and player in baseball and this is one of his favorites.
1 lbitalian sausage,diced
1 1/2 tspdry mustard
1 1/2 tspsalt
·dash of black pepper
12slices of bread, crusts removed, cubed
1 1/2 cshredded cheddar cheese
How to Make Sausage - Egg Bake
- Brown sausage in skillet until done. Drain off fat.
- In a large bowl, beat eggs and milk. Add mustard,salt,pepper and bread cubes. Mix well.
Fold in cooked sausage and cheese.
- Pour into greased 9x13 inch baking dish.
Let stand covered, in refrigerator overnight.
- Remove from refrigerator 1 hour before baking.
Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
Bake in preheated oven for 1 hour.
