sausage casserole
This recipe called for breakfast sausage but I changed it out for Italian sausages. The Italian sausages give the casserole a much better taste. If I have guests for breakfast or brunch this is a go-to recipe for me.

Ingredients
- 2 pounds sausage (i use italian sausage)
- 3 cups milk
- 1 1/2 cups biscuit mix
- 6 - eggs
- 1 1/2 cups shredded cheese, any kind (i use cheddar)
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder, pepper and parsley
How To Make sausage casserole

Step 1Brown sausage in a skillet and when done drain on paper towels.

Step 2After sausage has been drained, transfer sausage to the bottom of 13" x 9" pan, coated with oil spray.

Step 3Combine milk, biscuit and eggs and beat, with electric mixer, for one minute.

Step 4Cover sausage with the above mixture and then top with cheese. A mixture of cheeses can be used.

Step 5Bake at 400 degrees for 35 to 40 minutes or until done. Insert knife in center to see if it comes out clean and if it does it is done.

Step 6Makes 12 to 16 servings. Enjoy!
