It's our traditional Christmas morning breakfast. I assemble on Christmas Eve and refrigerate overnight, then bake in the morning.

Ingredients
- 6 slices bread, torn into chunks
- 1 pound hot pork sausage, i prefer jimmy dean
- 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
- 12 - eggs, beaten
- 1/2 cup milk
How To Make sausage breakfast casserole

Step 1Grease the bottom of a 9"x13" pan. Tear up 6 slices of bread and place in the bottom of the pan. Cook the sausage, drain, and sprinkle over bread pieces. Sprinkle cheddar cheese over sausage. Mix eggs and milk together and pour over casserole. Cover and put in refrigerator overnight. Bake covered at 350 degrees for 1 hour. Uncover and bake an additional 15 minutes until set.
