sausage and pecan casserole, my way

I made it with cinnamon swirl bread, you could probably use any bread, but if you don't use cinnamon bread, add some to casserole.

Ingredients

  • 1 package sausage, fried, crumbled and drained
  • 1 pound cinnamon bread, cubed (16 oz)
  • 6 eggs
  • 3 cups milk
  • 1 cup pecans
  • TOPPING
  • 1 cup brown sugar, packed
  • 1 cup pecans
  • 1/2 cup butter, softened
  • 2 tablespoons maple syrup

How To Make sausage and pecan casserole, my way

  • Step 1
    Bake, uncovered at 350 degrees 35 min.
  • Step 2
    I sprayed 9x13, put cubes in, sausage and pecans on top, mixed liquids together to soak in and stirred together. Then combined topping and crumbled on top before baking.
