I like it cheesy lol. But if you don't want it quite so cheesy, cut the amount of shredded cheese to 8 oz for total recipe.

Ingredients

  • 16 ounces sharp cheddar cheese, shredded
  • 1/2 teaspoon dry mustard
  • 1/2 teaspoon paprika
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 1 pound plain sausage, cooked, drained, cooled
  • 10 - eggs

How To Make sausage, egg and cheese casserole

  • Step 1
    Preheat oven to 325. Cover bottom of greased 9x13 baking dish with half (8 oz) of the shredded cheese.
  • Step 2
    Mix all seasonings with sour cream and pour half of mixture over cheese. Sprinkle crumbled sausage over mixture.
  • Step 3
    Beat eggs and pour over sausage. Spoon rest of sour cream mixture over eggs. Sprinkle rest of cheese on top.
  • Step 4
    Bake for 20-25 minutes uncovered.
