I like it cheesy lol. But if you don't want it quite so cheesy, cut the amount of shredded cheese to 8 oz for total recipe.

sharp cheddar cheese, shredded
1/2 tsp
dry mustard
1/2 tsp
1 tsp
1 c
sour cream
1 lb
plain sausage, cooked, drained, cooled

How to Make Sausage, Egg and Cheese Casserole


  • 1Preheat oven to 325. Cover bottom of greased 9x13 baking dish with half (8 oz) of the shredded cheese.
  • 2Mix all seasonings with sour cream and pour half of mixture over cheese. Sprinkle crumbled sausage over mixture.
  • 3Beat eggs and pour over sausage. Spoon rest of sour cream mixture over eggs. Sprinkle rest of cheese on top.
  • 4Bake for 20-25 minutes uncovered.
