We were tailgating at a football game .Everyone brings a dish, so one lady bought a slow cooker or crock pot of ro-tel grits. I've never eaten grits like that, and were good, and now this is one of my family favorites.

Ingredients
- 1-2 pound velveeta cheese [ your choice]
- 2 cups girts [ your choice ]
- 1 can mild ro-tel [ your choice ]
- 1 pound ground sausage, or turkey
- 1 stick butter or margarine
How To Make rotel grits

Step 1Cut cheese into cubes, put in slow cooker on high along with undrained ro-tel.

Step 2Cook and drain sausage and add to cooker.

Step 3Cook grits as directed.

Step 4Once grits are done add butter or margarine.Pour into cooker. Stir and let cheese melt.
