A recipe from my sister. We love quiche. I hope you enjoy this recipe.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup mushrooms, sliced
  • 1/2 cup ham, diced
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 2 - eggs, beaten
  • 1 cup whipping cream
  • 1/2 cup shredded cheese - i usually use cheddar, but you can try swiss, gruyere, etc..
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground nutmeg
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 dash black pepper
  • 1 - 9 inch pie shell, baked

How To Make quiche michele

  • Step 1
    Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. In a saucepan, cook the mushrroms and ham in butter for about 5 minutes and then set aside.
  • Step 2
    In a mixing bowl, combine all other ingredients.
  • Step 3
    Place ham and mushroom mixture on bottom of cooked pie shell. Pour egg mixture over the top.
  • Step 4
    Bake for about 20-25 minutes. Let stand for 10 minutes before slicing.
