2 lbjimmy dean sausage

1/2loaf of french bread

2 cmexican shredded cheese
-
8eggs
-
21/2 cmilk
-
·salt and pepper to taste
How to Make Portugese Egg Casserole
- Brown sausage and break up into small pieces. Cut bread into cubes and place in a 9 x 12 buttered dish. Cover bread with cheese. Sprinkle sausage over cheese.
- Mix together eggs, milk, and spices.(I use salt and pepper, but my friend uses dill to taste as well- beat well. Pour over contents in the baking dish and tilt pan to spread evenly. Cover with plastic wrap and refrigerate overnight.
- Bake at 300 degrees for 60 minutes.
