Ingredients
- 2 pounds jimmy dean sausage
- 1/2 - loaf of french bread
- 2 cups mexican shredded cheese
- 8 - eggs
- 21/2 cups milk
- - salt and pepper to taste
How To Make portugese egg casserole

Step 1Brown sausage and break up into small pieces. Cut bread into cubes and place in a 9 x 12 buttered dish. Cover bread with cheese. Sprinkle sausage over cheese.

Step 2Mix together eggs, milk, and spices.(I use salt and pepper, but my friend uses dill to taste as well- beat well. Pour over contents in the baking dish and tilt pan to spread evenly. Cover with plastic wrap and refrigerate overnight.

Step 3Bake at 300 degrees for 60 minutes.
