I combined recipes from two friends to come up with this rich version. It is a special treat for Christmas morning or breakfast for overnight guests.

Ingredients
- 1 cup butter
- 2 cups brown sugar, firmly packed
- 1/4 cup light corn syrup
- 1 - country french bread loaf
- 2 - 8-oz. pkgs. cream cheese, softened
- 1/3 cup brown sugar, firmly packed
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
- 6 - eggs
- 1 1/2 cups half and half
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
How To Make overnight stuffed french toast casserole

Step 1Grease bottom of 9x13 pan.

Step 2Cook butter, 2 cups brown sugar, and corn syrup over medium heat until mixture is well blended and bubbly. Pour half of sauce into bottom of pan.

Step 3Cut bread into 1" slices and arrange in pan over sauce.

Step 4Mix cream cheese, 1/3 cup brown sugar, and cinnamon until well blended. Dollop between and on top of bread slices.

Step 5Mix together eggs, half and half, vanilla, and salt. Pour over bread.

Step 6Pour remaining sauce over all.

Step 7Cover and refrigerate overnight.

Step 8Bake at 350 degrees for 40-45 minutes, uncovered, on baking sheet (for any possible boil over). Enjoy!
