Ingredients

loaves french bread, cut into cubes
4 oz
cream cheese
1 Tbsp
milk
1/2 c
powdered sugar
1 c
blueberries
1 c
milk

2 tsp
vanilla
1/2 tsp
cinnamon
1/4 c
maple syrup

BLUEBERRY SYRUP

1 c
water
2 Tbsp
corn starch
1/2 c
sugar
1 c
blueberries

How to Make Overnight Blueberry French Toast Casserole

Step-by-Step

  • 1Spray 2 quart casserole dish with nonstick spray.
  • 2Spread half of the bread cubes in bottom of dish.
  • 3Mix together cream cheese, 1 tablespoon milk and powdered sugar until well combined. Pour over bread.
  • 4Sprinkle with blueberries.
  • 5Add remaining bread cubes.
  • 6Combine 1 cup milk, eggs, vanilla, cinnamon and syrup. Pour over bread cubes.
  • 7Cover with foil and refrigerate overnight.
  • 8Let stand at room temperature for 30 minutes.
  • 9Preheat oven to 375 degrees. Bake covered 45 minutes. Remove foil and bake 30 minutes longer.
  • 10During last 10 minutes of baking prepare the Blueberry Syrup. In saucepan combine water, corn starch and sugar. Heat to a simmer. Add blueberries and continue to simmer for 10 minutes.
  • 11Serve casserole with warm syrup.
  • 12Enjoy!
