When we moved to the south we got introduced to Hashbrown Casserole...especially Cracker Barrels YUM...Found this recipe and we love it thought I would share. Just adds a whole different dimension to the casserole. We make this every christmas morning.
1IN a skillet cooked sausage until browned and cooked through...Drain
2In a large bowl combine all the ingredients and mix well till all is incorporated. Poor into greased 9x13 pan spread into even layer. Bake at 350 for 1 hour or until casserole is golden brown and bubbly.
3Sometimes I dot the casserole with a few pieces of butter before baking...This step is not necessary. I just like butter!
