Ingredients

1 lbroll sausage, i use bob evans spicy sausage

8eggs

10 slicebread, cut into cubes (about 10 cups) i use french bread

3 cmilk

2 cshredded cheddar cheese

2 csliced fresh mushrooms

1/4 conions, chopped

1 - 10 ozpackage frozen cut asparagus, thawed and drained

2 Tbspall purpose flour
-
2 Tbspbutter, melted

1 Tbspdry mustard

2 tspdried basil leaves

1 tspsalt
How to Make Morning Strata
- Crumble sausage and onion in large skillet. Cook over medium heat until browned, stirring occasionally.
Drain off any drippings. Whisk eggs in large bowl.
Add sausage and remaining ingredients; mix well. - Spoon into greased 13 x 9 inch baking dish. Cover; refrigerate 8 hours or overnight.
- Preheat oven to 350 F. Bake 60 to 70 minutes or until knife inserted near center comes out clean.
Let stand 5 minutes before cutting into squares; serve hot.
