Ingredients

  • 4 c
    white bread, in 1" cubes
  • 4 oz
    cheddar cheese, shredded
  • 4 oz
    swiss cheese, shredded
  • 1/4 c
    green onions, chopped
  • 1/4 c
    green bell pepper, diced
  • 1/2 c
    tomatoes, seeded and diced
  • 10
    eggs, beaten
  • 4 c
    milk
  • 1 Tbsp
    parsley, chopped
  • 1 tsp
    dry mustard
  • 1 tsp
    salt
  • 1/4 tsp
    pepper
  • 1 lb
    bacon, cooked and crumbled

How to Make Make-Ahead Brunch Casserole

Step-by-Step

  1. Generously grease 13 x 9-inch pan.
  2. Arrange bread cubes in bottom of dish.
  3. Layer cheese, green onions, green pepper, mushrooms and tomatoes on top of bread.
  4. In large bowl, combine eggs, milk, and seasonings; mix well.
  5. Pour egg mixture over bread and sprinkle bacon evenly over top.
  6. Cover and refrigerate overnight.
  7. Heat oven to 325. Bake uncovered 50 to 60 minutes or until center is set.
  8. Stand 10 minutes before serving.
