Ingredients For grits casserole

  • 4 c
    water
  • 1 c
    grits
  • 4
    eggs
  • 1 c
    milk
  • 1 stick
    butter
  • 1 lb
    bulk pork sausage
  • 1 tsp
    salt
  • 1 c
    cheddar cheese, grated
  • 1 box
    jiffy corn muffin mix

How To Make grits casserole

  • 1
    Combine water, butter, and salt. Bring to a boil. Add grits. Reduce heat and cook grits for 15 - 20 minutes. Let cool.

    Saute sausage and drain. Beat the eggs with the milk. Combine all ingredients together with the corn muffin mix. Pour into a 13 x 9 inch casserole. Cover with cheese. Bake at 325 degrees for 30 minutes.
