(1 RATING)
This recipe was given to me by my half-sister, Michele. It is a great breakfast meal or even better for a Sunday Brunch.

Ingredients
- 9 inch - pie shell, unbaked
- 4 ounces bacon, cooked crisp & drained
- 3 cups shredded cheddar cheese
- 3 large eggs
- 1/2 teaspoon salt and pepper
- 1 1/2 cups milk ( 1%, 2% or low fat)
- 1/2 cup diced green chilis
How To Make green chile quiche
-
Step 1Preheat oven to 375. Crumble bacon and add to pie shell. Top bacon w/ grated cheddar cheese. Blend eggs, salt & pepper and milk. Pour over the cheese. Be careful to NOT overfill pie shell as this could cause mixture to boil over into oven. Sprinkle green chilis over top of egg mixture. Place pie on cookie sheet and bake in oven for 1 hour. Pie is done when it does not jiggle in the center. Let pie set for 15 minutes before serving. Serve with fresh fruit, and coffee.
