Ingredients
- 1 cup uncooked grits (cook per pkg directions)
- 1 pound high quality pork sausage
- 1/2 cup chopped onion
- 1/2 cup chopped green pepper
- 1 cup diced celery (opt)
- 1 can 10 oz. cream of chicken soup-undiluted
- 8 ounces sharp cheddar cheese
- - salt and pepper to taste
How To Make george's funky grits

Step 1Brown sausage and drain well

Step 2Mix in onion, green pepper and celery. Saute until tender.

Step 3Mix with cooked grits,soup and cheese.

Step 4Place in crockpot to keep warm

Step 5For shrimp grits leave out the sausage and add raw shrimp as last step, cooking only till shrimp turns pink.

Step 6Left overs can be heat in micro oven.

Step 7A large crockpot will hold a double recipe
