Slow Cooker Crock Pot

Ingredients

1 c
uncooked grits (cook per pkg directions)
1 lb
high quality pork sausage
1/2 c
chopped onion
1/2 c
chopped green pepper
1 c
diced celery (opt)
1 can(s)
10 oz. cream of chicken soup-undiluted
8 oz
sharp cheddar cheese
salt and pepper to taste

Step-By-Step

1Brown sausage and drain well
2Mix in onion, green pepper and celery. Saute until tender.
3Mix with cooked grits,soup and cheese.
4Place in crockpot to keep warm
5For shrimp grits leave out the sausage and add raw shrimp as last step, cooking only till shrimp turns pink.
6Left overs can be heat in micro oven.
7A large crockpot will hold a double recipe
